Trees do many wonderful things. They provide much-needed shade in New Orleans’ hot and humid summers, temper heavy rains, renew our air supply, and make places beautiful. The Sexy Trees of the Marigny Calendar was created by artist Candy Chang for Marigny Green, a neighborhood volunteer committee of the Faubourg Marigny Improvement Association. Marigny Green promotes sustainable living through local initiatives on biking, recycling, energy-efficient lighting, and tree-planting.
