The Faubourg Marigny Improvement Association (FMIA) is accepting applications for its Art Market in Washington Park as part of the upcoming Faubourg Marigny Home Tour to be held on May 18, 2008. Now in its 36th year, the Faubourg Marigny Annual Home Tour gives locals and visitors a chance to experience all the treasures of the historic Marigny. Last year's event drew over 500 people to the park for the tour. Washington Square Park (700 Elysian Fields) is the epicenter of the Home Tour experience. There, tour-goers purchase tickets for the self-guided walking tour, enjoy live music, and shop renowned local artists artwork.
