Meet the Neighbors

After all that has happened in the recent history of the Marigny, strengthening our neighborly friendships and the sense of community is incredibly important.

In response to the arrival of many new residents to our neighborhood and the slow economy that is affecting our businesses, especially our local bars, we have put together a monthly get together for the neighborhood so we can get to know our new neighbors and help our local businesses.

The vision for this event was to establish a regular monthly social gathering that rotates through the businesses in the neighborhood. We currently have the second Tuesday of each month slated as the day with a happy hour timeframe of 6:30 pm to 8:30pm.

This institution provides a wonderful venue for neighbors to meet one another and support important local businesses. This is also an opportunity to for us to help reduce crime by getting to know our neighbors so we can watch out for them and their property.

Why Tuesday?
We did not want to compete with the bar's normal busy days so we choose a slow day to boost their business.

Do I have to buy a drink to attend?
Absolutely not. This is a social event for all residents. No purchase required.
