We the undersigned urge the New Orleans City Council to make provisions in the new city ordinaces that pertain to riverfront develpoment that reflect our conerns with the following:

* Safety concerns about the lack of a servitude for floodwall maintenance and pile supported construction for the levee.

* The lack of comprehensive traffic and environmental impact studies.

* The current state of damaged infrastructure and inadequate city services to support the plan.

* The failure to respect long-time existing historic zoning (which threatens the neighborhoods historic character) by the proposed raise in height limits to 75 feet.
